somebody to score penalties when Ashley Young is blown over by the breeze.
we Will gladly have him at villa if he wants one last big challenge before he retires!! Cant see it happening somehow… chelsea would be mad to be letting him go to united of all teams
All the ABU’s up early this morning I see. Lampard would be a great signing at OT. Experienced, talented and a real leader in the centre of the field. Scholes was 34 & Giggs 35 when Man Utd won the champions league. Lampard’s 33. As for him being “passed it 2 years ago” he’s dragged Chelsea thru the last month on his own. The only question is whether or not the move to a big club would hinder his performances! I don’t think so though ;)
My mistake. I still reckon he’d be a great signing. A top player to have in the squad. Looks like Scholes and Giggs are gonna call it a day in June. No harm have a player like Lampard in there. He’s still a good player age aside. 1 year contract on a free transfer! If it doesn’t work out then so be it. But it’s def worth a shot.
He would be an asset to any team he’d go to but he only has at most 2 year left and a foreign move would be his best chance of maintaining the respect he has from the Chelsea supporters,a move to United would be a kick in the face to them, imagine Giggs moving to City
