IRISH FANS STILL hoping that the side can pull off a miraculous turnaround and qualify for the World Cup won’t exactly be encouraged by news that Sweden have beaten Kazakhstan1-0 today.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored for his side in the opening seconds with a neat finish, after being played through on goal.

It remained 1-0 with for the remainder of the match, with the hosts failing to score despite several good chances.
