The Boys in Green trained in Wimbledon today ahead of Tuesday’s game with Oman.

AHEAD OF TUESDAY’S international friendly with Oman, the Ireland squad trained at AFC Wimbledon’s Kingsmeadow Stadium this morning.

While goalkeeper Keiron Westwood sat out the session, recent call-up Robbie Brady experienced his first session under Giovanni Trapattoni after linking up with the team yesterday.

James McClean, who apologised to his team-mates after an outburst on Twitter earlier in the week, took full part but Robbie Keane, John O’Shea, Jon Walters and Darren O’Dea – who have all returned to their clubs – were notable absentees.

Ireland meet the Asian side at Craven Cottage on Tuesday evening in their last game before next month’s World Cup qualifier against Germany in Dublin.
