Ireland to play Scotland in World Cup warm-up

Four pre-World Cup friendlies announced a year in advance.

Ireland will play Scotland in Edinburgh on August 6th, 2011 in the first of four warm-up friendlies ahead of the 2011 World Cup in New Zealand.

The IRFU today announced the details of four pre-tournament friendlies to be held next August.

As part of their World Cup preparations, Declan Kidney’s side will also play a double-header against France on August 13th and 20th before playing England in the Aviva Stadium on the 27th.
