WIN! Predict Ireland's score in their World Cup opener and win match tickets

Ireland take on Zimbabwe tomorrow — and we want to send you to see the Boys in Green later this year.

FANCY A BANK Holiday weekend freebie?

Ireland’s cricketers — you know, those lads who won every trophy in sight last year — begin their T20 World Cup challenge when they take on Zimbabwe in Bangladesh tomorrow.

Here’s where you come in. Thanks to the lovely people at Cricket Ireland, we’ve got a pair of tickets to give away for either of Ireland’s internationals against Sri Lanka this May.

Tickets for the games in Clontarf are still available through Ticketmaster.ie — but we want to give you them for free. Here’s how to win:

All you have to do is predict the total number of runs Ireland will score against Zimbabwe tomorrow and post your answer in the comments section. That’s as easy as we can make it!

(To give you a little bit of guidance, Ireland scored 123 and 129 runs in their two games at the last T20 World Cup in 2012.)

Closest answer wins and in the event of a tie, we’ll pull the winner from a hat.

Competition closes on Monday, 17 March at 9am sharp. Only one entry per person/ Twitter account. In the event of a dispute regarding rules, conduct or the results of a competition the decision of Journal Media will be final.
