But we want to know do you have any interest in the series?

It’s a polarising sport which provokes plenty of opinions.

Let us know yours.

It’s a great game. Fast, exciting and has a well defined tackle, the bane of Football in my opinion. I think if it was marketed well, and played every year, it would be very popular.

There were actually some barnstorming Series in 1998/99, 2002 was also pretty decent in my memory.

However the main draw if we are being honest was probably the physicality and the bit of biff that went with it. Once it became clear in 2006 that the Aussies were light years ahead of us physically and the game was sanitized the Aussie public couldn’t care less. This is reflected in the status it’s accorded by players and selectors in Australia.

Given the question asked, surely one of the answer options should have been a straight no?

An absolute lot of nonsense. What it’s going to prove. Aussies don’t want to play our game and we don’t want theirs. If we Wish to send our guys for a holiday, fair enough but do not be trying to develop something that has no chance
