Ireland suffered a setback in Glasgow last night, but are still in a promising position.

IF IRELAND FANS were offered seven points at this stage of the qualification period back in August they probably would have taken it, but the manner at which the team has arrived at their points total will leave people wanting more.

The last-gasp draw in Germany put the squad in a great position but last night’s defeat to Scotland leaves us in fourth and one place off the playoff spot.

But with Germany, Scotland and Poland still to visit Dublin, do you think we will be able to book a place at Euro 2016? Where do you think Ireland will finish up in Group D?
