A FANTASTIC ANTHONY Pilkington goal gave Ireland the lead tonight against USA in tonight’s game at the Aviva Stadium.

Debutant David McGoldrick produced a fantastic through pass before the Cardiff man dinked it over the goalkeeper to put the Irish team 1-0 ahead.

However, the US have since equalised from this opportunistic strike by Mix Diskerud.
