ON A DAY that saw plenty of GAA action, the climax of the Open Championship at Royal Lytham and Britain crowning their first Tour de France winner… the big show took place in Berlin.
The German capital hosted the Hipster Olympics, days before the actual Games kick off in London on Friday.
Events included beard tweaking, tote bag sack races, skinny jeans tug-o-war, chunky-framed spectacles throwing.
I preferred it when it wasn’t so mainstream. Here’s the pics anyway:
