POZNAN’S POST-EURO 2012 love affair with Ireland continued in Dublin yesterday when the Mayor of Poznan, Ryszard Grobelny, paid a short visit to the capital.

Grobelny was in town to open an exhibition of the best photos from the Irish invasion as well as for meetings with President Michael D Higgins and Dublin Lord Mayor Naoise Ó Muirí.

Despite the busy schedule, he still found time to make it down to O’Donoghue’s Bar on Merrion Row for a meet, greet and quick pint with some of Trap’s Army.
