BING HAVE RELEASED their list of the top searches of 2011 so far.
Tennis player Maria Sharapova tops the list as the most search athlete of the year. She is followed by Tiger Woods, who topped the list in 2010.
In addition to Sharapova, three other female athletes crack the top 10, including Serena Williams (#3), Caroline Wozniacki (#5), and Hope Solo (#9).
Interestingly, there were no females in the top 10 a year ago.
In addition to Tiger, other athletes that are among the most searched for the second consecutive year are Brett Favre (#4 in 2011, #5 in 2010), Kobe Bryant (#6 in 2011, #6 in 2010), and LeBron James (#7 in 2011, #2 in 2010).
