Here's everything you need to know about the weekend's Football Qualifiers

Clear your schedule for Saturday …
THE CCCC HAS confirmed the times and venues for this weekend’s All-Ireland Football Qualifiers. They are as follows:
  • In a game which will almost certainly be billed as Micko’s last hurrah (again), Wicklow take on Armagh in their Round Two replay on Saturday evening. Throw-in at Aughrim is at 7pm.
  • Three of the four Round 3 qualifiers take place on Saturday evening – Tyrone’s game against Wicklow/Armagh being the exception. Waterford travel to the Gaelic Grounds to face Limerick while Antrim and Down square off in Casement Park. Throw-in for both games is also at 7pm.
  • Saturday’s remaining qualifier – the rematch between Leinster foes Meath and Kildare – is pencilled in for a 7pm start in Pairc Tailteann as well. The game will be shown live on RTÉ on Saturday evening.

There’s GAA action on Sunday as well with the two remaining provincial football titles up for decision. First up is the game between Roscommon and Mayo which throws-in at Dr. Hyde Park at 2pm (live on TV3).

That will be followed by the game at Clones as Donegal and Derry duke it out for the Ulster Championship. Action gets underway at 4pm and will be broadcast by both TV3 and BBC NI.

The details for the All-Ireland SHC Quarter-Finals were also confirmed by the CCCC this afternoon, with the games set-up as a mouth-watering double-header in Thurles on July 24.

  • Dublin vs. Limerick (throw-in 2pm)
  • Waterford vs. Galway (throw-in 4pm)
