Henry in angry confrontation with Gunners fan after Swansea defeat

The returning Emirates Stadium legend seemed to invite an angry supporter onto the pitch in a heated face-off.

PAUL SCHOLES MARKED his return to the Premier League with a goal against Bolton this weekend.

But it was an unhappier experience for Thierry Henry.

Arsenal lost 3-2 to Swansea in a thrilling Liberty stadium clash. And afterwards the returning Emirates Stadium legend seemed to invite an angry supporter onto the pitch in a heated confrontation.

A club spokesperson afterwards claimed Henry had said only the words: “No matter what, you should support your team”.

Television pictures, however, seem to show him shouting and gesturing angrily towards the travelling Arsenal faithful.

Henry is currently on loan from MLS side New York Red Bulls, he scored in his first appearance in the cup win over Leeds on Monday night.

The Gunners face Manchester United next up in the league and then it’s a reunion with World Cup playoff rivals Shay Given, Richard Dunne and on-loan Robbie Keane as the north London side face Aston Villa in the FA Cup fourth round.
