Snapshot: Dublin GAA pays respect to Kevin Heffernan

This flag hung as Dublin took on Kildare in this evening’s O’Byrne Cup final.

BEFORE THIS EVENING’S O’Byrne Cup final, Dublin GAA honoured the passing of one of its favourite sons.

Kevin Heffernan’s death was marked by a moment’s applause from players and fans alike before the throw in against Kildare. While the above message was also fastened to a simple Dublin flag.
