There might be a couple of sore heads in green and white this morning.

SHAMROCK ROVERS LEFT it late before clinching a record 17th league title with a 2-1 win over UCD in Belfield last night.

Substitute Dean Kelly came off the bench to strike four minutes into injury time, sending the thousands of visiting Hoops fans into a frenzy.

Rovers won’t be presented with the league trophy until their final home game against Galway United on Friday, but that didn’t stop them from celebrating last night.
