SEBASTIAN COATES’ brilliant scissor-kick goal was about the only thing Liverpool fans could smile about as they left Loftus Road last night.

Kenny Dalglish’s side meekly surrendered a two-goal lead as goals from Shaun Derry, former Red Djibril Cisse and Jamie Mackie in the final 15 minutes gave QPR a famous 3-2 win.

If nothing else though, Coates’ strike which gave Liverpool the lead in the 54th minute was a little bit special.
