GOALS FROM THE halfway line are never without their audacity, but this weekend’s Mexican league effort from Pachuca’s Daniel Ludueña is downright cheeky.

We love this goal for three main reasons:

The scores are level. This matters.
The way be beats the would-be Tigres tackler. That alone would have been Showboat worthy.
The execution of the strike to make a clown out of the goalkeeper perched on the edge of his box.
