Watch Guinness's Winter Olympics ad now (because it could be pulled at any second)

Introducing the inspirational story of Tracy and Lanny Barnes.

GUINNESS LOOK TO have hit gold with a Winter Olympics ad that tells the inspirational story of American athletes Tracy and Lanny Barnes.

The twin sisters from Colorado both hoped to compete in the biathlon in Sochi but… well, we don’t want to ruin to story for those who don’t know it already. Just watch the ad.

Awesome, right? Well, strictly speaking, it should have been pulled at midnight last night because it breaches the US Olympic Committee’s rule governing non-official sponsors.

Although Budweiser — a sister in the Diageo family — is an official sponsor, Guinness isn’t and by the letter of the law, is subject to a blackout from 30 January – 26 February.

Guinness pulled the ad from its YouTube channel as expected last night but it’s still doing the rounds out there in cyberspace… for now.

Do yourself a favour and watch it.
