FOR THE FIRST time since December 5 2009, Greg Oden stepped on court to take part in a professional basketball game.

The former number one pick in the NBA draft, Oden has spent the last 46 months battling injury, recovering from surgery and enduring hours and hours of seemingly unending rehab.

And while it may be just a pre-season game, the 25-year old put the exclamation point on his return with a slam dunk on his first offensive possession.
