Going nowhere: Donnacha Ryan pens new contract with Munster

The forward has agreed to stay with the province until at least 2013/2014 season.

DONNACHA RYAN HAS signed a new contract with Munster that will keep him with the province until at least the 2013/2014 season, the IRFU has announced.

After making his debut in the 2004/2005 season, Ryan has gone on to make 99 appearances for Munster.

He has become an integral member of the team in the process, helping them to win the 2010/11 Magners League Grand Final, in addition to being part of the squad that won the 2008 Heineken Cup.

The forward made his Ireland debut against Argentina in 2008, and started in the Six Nations for the first time last Saturday against Scotland, winning the man-of-the-match award for his efforts.

He has also been included in the team to face England, which was announced earlier today.
