A STUART HOGG penalty with the last kick of the game gave Glasgow a 22-20 win over Leinster in a game that see-sawed wildly in the last ten minutes.
Leinster’s history of poor early season showings looked set to continue early on as Glasgow opened up a 19-0 first-half lead, scoring three tries in the process.
Peter Horne, Jonny Gray and Josh Strauss all crossed over in the early stages and the ease with which Leinster conceded the scores, especially the turnover for Strauss’ try, will frustrate Matt O’Connor immensely.

Leinster tried to see out the game, but Glasgow were hunting for that winning score. It looked like they had lost their chance after they elected to kick to touch rather than take on a difficult penalty but after Leinster went offside from an ensuing drop goal attempt, Stuart Hogg made no mistake from right in front to give the home side the win.
