20 pictures from today's interprovincial GAA action

Just wide, Joe.

SO IT WILL be Leinster and Ulster contesting this year’s M Donnelly Interprovincial Football Championship decider at Croke Park later in the month, after both sides won their semi-finals by a point today.

Bernard Brogan fisted a late winning point for Pat Gilroy’s Leinster side at Pearse Park in Longford. After that 1-21 to 1-20 victory, they’ll face defending champions Ulster. Joe Kernan’s outfit edged Munster — 1-14 to 1-13 at the Athletic Grounds in Armagh.

In the hurling, Connacht cruised to a 3-16 to 1-16 win over Leinster in Tullamore. They’ll now prepare for a meeting with Munster in the final, who earlier defeated Ulster by 12 points — 3-20 to 1-14 – in Armagh.
