WHEN ASKED TO name the best defender in the Premier League, the majority of pundits would likely pick John Terry or Vincent Kompany as their choice.
However, Jami Carragher and Gary Neville both went for a slightly left-field choice when asked the question on Monday Night Football.
They both went for Chelsea’s Cesar Azpilicueta as the best defender “technically,” while adding that the club’s other defenders “aren’t too far behind”.
