Here’s the GAA coverage coming up on TV and Radio this weekend

There’s plenty to get set for on the box and on the airwaves this weekend.

IT’S ANOTHER MASSIVE weekend of GAA action. Here’s what’s coming up on TV and radio over the next few days.

Friday

Thank GAA It’s Friday, RTÉ 2, 7.30pm

RTÉ’s new GAA magazine show starts tonight. The first episode features Dublin’s Ryan O’Dwyer on adjusting to fatherhood ahead of Sunday’s Leinster hurling final and Leitrim’s Emlyn Mulligan on match day during their recent qualifier defeat to Down.

There’s also a piece with the oldest hurley making family in the country (the Larkin’s from Killimor in Galway) and Darragh O Sé counts down his most memorable Cork-Kerry moments.

Saturday

All-Ireland SHC Round 1 qualifiers
Clare v Wexford, Cusack Park, Ennis, 3.30pm

There’s live TV coverage on The Saturday Game on RTÉ 2 from 3.15pm. Michael Lyster presents with Cyril Farrell and Michael Duignan on the panel. Commentary is by Ger Canning and Liam Sheedy.

Newstalk have live radio coverage with David McIntyre commentating alongside Daithi Regan.

John Kenny reports on the game for RTÉ Radio 1 while Clare FM and South-East Radio provide the local radio coverage.

Tipperary v Galway, Semple Stadium, Thurles, 7pm

Live coverage of this match on Sky Sports 3 with Rachel Wyse and Brian Carney presenting. Analysis will be from Jamesie O’Connor and Ollie Canning with Mike Finnerty commentating alongside Nicky English.

Brian Carthy commentates on the game for RTÉ Radio 1.

All-Ireland SFC Round 2A qualifiers
Limerick v Antrim, Gaelic Grounds, 2pm

The Sunday Game on RTÉ 2 is presented live from Cork by Darragh Maloney with Ciaran Whelan and Colm O’Rourke on the panel. Commentary by Ger Canning and Martin Carney.

Live radio coverage on Newstalk with Dave McIntyre commentating alongside pundits Darragh O Sé and Liam McHale while Colm Parkinson is the sideline reporter.

Brian Carthy reports on the game for RTÉ Radio with live radio coverage also on C103 with Paudie Palmer and Radio Kerry with Weeshie Fogarty.

Leinster SHC final

Michael Lyster presents The Sunday Game on RTÉ 2 for this match with Ger Loughnane and Tomás Mulcahy on the panel.  Commentary is by Marty Morrissey and Michael Duignan.

RTÉ Radio 1 have live coverage of the game from Pauric Lodge with local radio coverage on Dublin City FM and KCLR 96FM.

Ulster SFC semi-final replay

Monaghan v Armagh, St Tiernach’s Park, Clones, 3.30pm

RTÉ Radio 1 reports on the game come from Mike McCartney while Shannonside Northern Sound will also have coverage.

All-Ireland SFC Round 2A qualifier

Wexford v Laois, Wexford Park, 2pm

The Sunday Game, RTÉ 2, 9.30pm-11.30pm
A two hour highlights show is presented by Des Cahill with coverage of the provincial finals, the football and hurling qualifiers and the replay in Ulster between Monaghan and Armagh.

Eddie Brennan and Donal Óg Cusack are on the hurling panel with Dermot Earley and Kevin McStay on the football panel.
