Here's your GAA coverage on TV and Radio this week

There’s plenty to watch on the box and listen to on the airwaves this week.

IT’S ANOTHER BUSY weekend of GAA action with provincial final places up for grabs in Munster hurling and Ulster football.

While the opening round qualifiers in the All-Ireland hurling championship take place.

Here’s a breakdown of the games that are being broadcast live on television and radio over the weekend.

Saturday

All-Ireland SHC qualifier: Wexford v Antrim, Wexford Park, 3pm.

Live radio coverage on Newstalk with commentary by Oisin Langan.

All-Ireland SHC qualifier: Offaly v Waterford, O’Connor Park, Tullamore, 7pm

Live radio commentary on RTE Radio 1.

Sunday

Ulster SFC semi-final: Donegal v Down,  Kingspan Breffni Park, 2pm

There’s live TV coverage on The Sunday Game on RTE 2 from 1.30pm. It is presented by Michael Lyster with analysis by Colm O’Rourke and Joe Brolly. Commentary from Ger Canning and Martin Carney. The Sunday Game that night is presented by Des Cahill and starts at 10.05pm on RTE 2.

Newstalk have live radio commentary of the game from 1pm. Joe Molloy is presenting with commentary by David McIntyre. Analysis is by Conor  Deegan and David Brady while Colm Parkinson is the sideline reporter.

Leinster SHC semi-final: Kilkenny v Dublin, Portlaoise, 3.50pm

KCLR96fm are doing live commentary of  Kilkenny v Dublin in both the minor and senior Leinster semi finals. Oisin Langan is commentating alongside former Kilkenny senior goalkeeper Michael Walsh.

Munster SHC semi-final: Cork v Clare, Gaelic Grounds, 4pm

Matt Cooper presents live coverage on TV3 from 3.30pm, Daithi Regan and Jamesie O’Connor are the analysts for the game. Mike Finnerty is on commentary duty along with Nicky English while Kieran McSweeney is the sideline reporter.

Sunday Sport on RTE Radio 1 will be broadcasting live radio coverage of the game in the Gaelic Grounds with Pauric Lodge commentating on it.

Championship Matters

Thursday, RTE Two, 7pm

Presenter Marty Morrissey will be joined in studio by Cork’s John Gardiner,  Cavan’s Cian Mackey and Irish Times journalist Malachy Clerkin.

Antrim hurling captain Neil McManus will be explaining his opposition to the ‘Team Ulster’ hurling concept while Down football captain Mark Poland takes the Hot Seat Quiz.

Finally there is a behind the scenes look at the recent Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Finals in Croke Park as Kilkenny hurler Richie Hogan, a teacher in Belgrove Senior Boys in Clontarf in Dublin, who guided the schools team to hurling success.

The GAA Show

Friday, 3E, 6.30pm and Saturday, TV3, 8.30am

Presenter Kieran McSweeney is joined by Offaly All-Ireland hurling winner Daithi Regan and Sunday Independent journalist Marie Crowe. There will be interviews with the Cork hurling camp ahead of Sunday’s Munster semi-final and the Donegal football camp ahead of Sunday’s Ulster semi-final.
