Here’s the GAA coverage coming up on TV and Radio this weekend

There’s plenty to get set for on the box and on the airwaves this weekend.

IT’S ANOTHER MASSIVE weekend of GAA action. Here’s what’s coming up on TV and radio over the next few days.

Friday

Thank GAA It’s Friday, RTÉ 2, 8.30pm

RTÉ’s new GAA magazine show airs its second episode tonight. There’s features with Cavan footballer Killian Clarke and Waterford hurler Stephen Molumphy. There is also a piece with memories of Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

Saturday

All-Ireland SHC Round 1 qualifier replay
Wexford v Clare, Wexford Park, 5pm

There’s live TV coverage on The Saturday Game on RTÉ 2 from 4.40pm. Michael Lyster presents with Cyril Farrell and Michael Duignan on the panel. Commentary is by Ger Canning and Liam Sheedy.

Newstalk have live radio coverage with David McIntyre commentating alongside Daithi Regan and Diarmuid Lyng.

Martin Kiely reports on the game for RTÉ Radio 1 while Clare FM and South-East Radio provide the local radio coverage.

Tipperary v Offaly, O’Moore Park, Portlaoise, 7pm

Live coverage of this match on Sky Sports 3 with Rachel Wyse and Brian Carney presenting. Analysis will be from Jamesie O’Connor and Ollie Canning with Mike Finnerty commentating alongside Nicky English.

Brian Carthy commentates on the game for RTÉ Radio 1 with Mike McCartney the sideline reporter.

Munster SHC final

Cork v Limerick, Páirc Uí Chaoimh, 4pm
Michael Lyster presents The Sunday Game on RTÉ 2 for this match with Ger Loughnane, Cyril Farrell and Liam Sheedy on the panel.  Commentary is by Ger Canning and Michael Duignan.

RTÉ Radio 1′s live coverage of the match sees Marty Morrissey commentating alongside Brendan Cummins with Pat McAuliffe reporting from the sideline.

Newstalk have live coverage of the game from Jamesie O’Connor at the stadium with Daithi Regan in studio. There is local radio coverage on C103 and Limerick’s Live 95FM.

All-Ireland SFC Round 2B qualifiers

Down v Kildare, Páirc Esler, Newry, 2pm

The Sunday Game, RTÉ 2, 10.30pm
A two hour highlights show presented by Des Cahill but coverage may be delayed if the World Cup final goes to extra-time and penalties. There will be coverage of the provincial finals along with the football and hurling qualifiers.

Eddie Brennan, Donal Óg Cusack and Ollie Moran are on the hurling panel with Pat Spillane and Ciaran Whelan on the football panel.
