GAA throw-in: here’s how they’ll line out in the National Hurling League this weekend

It’s shaping up to be a good ‘un, folks. Here’s all the latest team news from the National Hurling League.

DECLAN RYAN HAS made two changes to his starting XV for Tipperary’s Spring Series date with Dublin in Croke Park tomorrow night.

Thomas Stapleton comes in at wing-back in place of John O’Keeffe, while Gearóid Ryan is passed fit to take his place in the half-forward line alongside Noel McGrath and Pa Bourke.

Jimmy Barry Murphy has made three changes to the Cork side ahead of Sunday’s test Division 1A leaders Kilkenny in Nowlan Park.

Stephen McDonnell has recovered from the injury which ruled him out of the defeat against Galway last weekend, and reclaims his usual place at full-back from Damien Cahalane.

Sean Óg Ó hAilpín drops in to replace Tom Kenny at wing-back, while Eoin Cadogan returns from his stint with the footballers last weekend and joins him in the half-back line at the expense of John Gardiner.

Darren Sweetnam partners Lorcán McLoughlin in midfield.

Galway boss Anthony Cunningham has made two changes to his forward line for Sunday’s meeting with Waterford in Pearse Park.

Cyril Donnellan starts at wing-forward and Barry Daly at full-forward, with James Regan and Iarlaith Tannian dropping to the bench to make way.

The return of Shane Dowling is Limerick’s only change for tomorrow evening’s Division 1B test against promotion rivals Offaly.

The Na Piarsaigh youngster comes into the side at wing-forward in place of Thomas O’Brien, who didn’t score during his 55 minutes on the pitch against Wexford last weekend.

Rathnure teenager Jack Guiney has been handed a first inter-county start for Wexford in Sunday’s trip to Division 1B leaders Clare.

Guiney is one of two personnel changes, although manager Liam Dunne has made a number of positional switches to the team which lined out in last weekend’s defeat to Limerick.

John Leacy comes in to start at centre-forward, with Barry Kehoe and Jim Berry dropping down to the bench to make way.

Paul Shiels joins Karl Stewart in midfield, while in the forwards, Darren Hamill and Conor Carson come into replace Colm McFall and Conor McCann.
