This GAA club is taking no World Cup-related excuses for missing training

Management sent around a clever text before an intermediate and junior session last night.

EVERYONE IS LOOKING for reasons to skive off work and training at the moment in order to watch the World Cup, but one GAA club is clamping down on their players’ excuses.

The brilliant text below, sent around by a Waterford-based club last night, shows that the management team weren’t going to listen to any far-fetched explanations for missing a session at 8pm.

The Brazil v Mexico clash kicked-off at exactly the same time, but thankfully for those who dragged themselves away from the TV to go training, the Group A clash finished 0-0.
