CORK DEFEATED KERRY by a single point in the Cadbury Munster U21 Final, while Cavan retained their Ulster U21 title against Tyrone this evening.
Cork needed extra time to triumph, after the two sides finished level in normal time.
A subsequent Luke Connolly goal looked to have won it for Cork, however a Kerry penalty with five minutes remaining ensured a tense finish in which the Rebels ultimately prevailed by the narrowest of margins.
Meanwhile, in the U21 Ulster final, an early Darragh Sexton penalty helped Cavan beat Tyrone to win the competition for the second year running.
With a half-time score of 0-05 to 1-04, Tyrone were far from out of the game, and they continued to fight valiantly in the second half.
And while they managed to reduce the deficit to a point thereafter, a strong Cavan defence held firm for the victory.
