Allianz HL Div1A – Kilkenny 0-1 – Tipperary 1-0: First blood to Kilkenny as Walter Walsh points for the home side.

Noel McGrath went straight down the other end to score the game’s first goal though. Game on.

Allianz HL Div1B – Limerick 0-4 – Antrim 0-1: Points from Conor Allis (2), Sean Tobin and Donal O’Grady have Limerick in a comfortable lead after five minutes.

Allianz HL Div1A – Galway 0-3 – Waterford 0-1: It’s been another quick start for Galway and Padraig Brehony, Conor Cooney and Cathal Mannion have all pointed for the visitors.

Allianz HL Div1A – Tipperary 3-3 – Kilkenny 0-4: Jason Forde  and Seamus Callanan have grabbed Tipperary’s second and third goals of the game in Nowlan Park and it already looks like it’ll be a long afternoon for the hosts.

Allianz HL Div1B: Wexford 1-4 – Offaly 0-1: After last week’s surprise loss to Laois in Tullamore, Offaly needed a performance today but it’s not happening just yet. Ian Byrne with the home side’s goal while Conor Mahon has the Faithful County’s sole point.

Allianz HL Div1A – Tipperary 3-4 – Kilkenny 0-6: A class point from Walter Walsh there reduces the deficit to seven points but their struggles in front of goal continue and have to settle for a 65 when a three-pointer looked almost certain.

Allianz HL Div1B: Wexford 1-7 – Offaly 1-6: Offaly are right back in this. Captain Joe Bergin makes the most of a close range free to find the net and there’s just a point between the sides.

Allianz HL Div1A – Tipperary 3-6 – Kilkenny 1-8: Colin Fennelly finally raises the green flag for the hosts and it’s quickly followed by a beautiful point from Mark Kelly and it’s game on in Nowlan Park.

Allianz HL Div1B – Limerick 0-8 – Antrim 0-4: Scrappy game in Limerick so far but the hosts lead by double scores.

Allianz HL Div1A – Tipperary 4-8 – Kilkenny 1-8: It’s a fourth goal for Tipperary and a second of the game for Seamus Callanan. They lead by nine points with eight minutes left in the first half.

Allianz HL Div1A – Tipperary 4-9 – Kilkenny 2-8: Henry Shefflin with a goal for Kilkenny and they’ve already scored more goals from play in this game than they did in the entire Championship last year. Still they trail.

Allianz HL Div1A – Waterford 0-8 – Galway 0-7: It’s a much closer game for the Tribesmen this week and it’s Pauric Mahony’s point that separates the sides.

Allianz HL Div1B: Offaly 2-8 – Wexford 1-10: Conor Mahon has both Offaly goals now and this is a much better performance from Brian Whelehan’s men.

It’s half-time in our feature game and while we update the scores, take a second to look at the damage caused by the recent storms to Nowlan Park.

Well what do you make of that? Kilkenny and Tipperary providing plenty of excitement unless you like defending. For the neutral though, it’s been a fun watch.

Allianz HL Div1A – Tipperary 4-9 – Kilkenny 2-11: Walter Walsh and Colin Fennelly get the second half off to a positive start for Kilkenny. Walsh, in particular, has taken some fine points today.

Allianz HL Div1A – Waterford 0-12 – Galway 0-9: Ray Barry with two points in quick succession for Waterford.

Allianz HL Div1B: Offaly 2-10 - Wexford 1-10: Offaly lead by a goal now, Joe Bergin with their latest score. Five minutes gone in the second half.

Allianz HL Div1A – Tipperary 4-10 – Kilkenny 3-11: Colin Fennelly raises the green flag for Kilkenny for the third time today and now there’s just two points between the teams.

Allianz HL Div1B – Limerick 0-12 – Antrim 0-8: The home side still well in control at the Gaelic Grounds but their lead is now just four.

Allianz HL Div1A – Waterford 0-14 – Galway 1-11: Jason Flynn has the game’s first goal and Galway have drawn level.

Allianz HL Div1A – Tipperary 5-10 – Kilkenny 3-13: And just as it looked like the Cats were working their way back into this game, Seamus Callanan grabs his hat-trick and Tipp’s lead is three points again. His match total is 3-3. Impressive stuff.

Div1B: Offaly 2-11 – Wexford 1-13: Offaly still lead in Wexford but their advantage is down to the minimum.

Div1A – Tipperary 5-12 – Kilkenny 4-15: And the sides are level, the ninth goal of the game is scored by Colin Fennelly, he joins Callinan on a hat-trick.

Div1A – Kilkenny 4-16 (28) – Tipperary 5-12 (27): 11 minutes left and the hosts have taken the lead through Henry Shefflin.

Div1B: Wexford 2-17 - Offaly 2-13: A goal from Liam Og McGovern changed the course of this game and Wexford look like they’ll run out winners now with three minutes left.

Div1A – Kilkenny 5-19 (34) – Tipperary 5-14 (29): Just the ten goals in this one so far! Mark Kelly with the finish as the defending champions finish strongly.

Div1B – Limerick 3-26 – Antrim 0-12: This escalated quickly in the second half while we were distracted by the Kilkenny/Tipp game. William Hickey, Sean Tobin and David Reidy put Limerick in the driving seat in Division 1B.

Div1A – Waterford 0-22 – Galway 1-13: Waterford kicked on here, out scoring the Tribesmen by eight points to two in the final quarter.

And that’s it from us. If this is what February has to offer, we can’t wait for the Championship.

As always, thanks for joining us. We’ll have reports from all of today’s Division 1A games as well as a wrap of the Division 1B action.
