STAND BACK AND applaud, ladies and gentlemen. Here are your 2012 Hurling All Stars.
All Ireland runners-up Galway are the most heavily represented county in the selection with six of the team who won the Leinster title and pushed the All Ireland final to a replay included.
Champions, Kilkenny, have five representatives including Henry Shefflin who earned his ninth medal on the field of play and his 11th All-Star. For the first time since 2002, however, there is no place for Tommy Walsh who had hoped to earn his 10th consecutive nomination.
Eight of the 15 are selected for their first All-Star: Anthony Nash, Brendan Bugler, Fergal Moore, David Collins, Kevin Moran, Iarla Tannian, TJ Reid and David Burke.

Damien Hayes, did he play in the final, and replay, can’t rem him getn a touch of the ball, joke is what them all stars are.
Popcorn the last 7 times a hurl has been thrown in Kilkenny games its 5 to 2 in favour of the opposition throwing hurls. When did tommy throw the hurl?
Tipperary are in the Sin Bin for making a mockery of the game and must wait for the penalty period to finish. That will be when they win it next year.
Emmm… All Ireland AND league champions are who remind me??? All stars a joke..
Dublin won all stars last year on the strength of their league campaign and fair play to them. But it didn’t seem to matter when Kilkenny won it. I understand the media are sick as shit with Kilkenny but come on…. And is it obligatory that Mullane wins one??
Some bad calls john mullane didnt deserve one overhyped by media, kevin moran not a midfielder, pa cronin should have got one there, pauraic maher unlucky to miss, out thought he was best wing back this year
Tommy Walshe should have got an award for throwing the Hurley. Only Kilkenny playerss do this and never they never get a red card.
He’s not a sportsman. The fact that he didn’t get another all star means they’ve finally copped onto him !
