THE GAA HAS confirmed the times and venues for this weekend’s round of All-Ireland SFC matches, with back-to-back double-headers set to take place in Croke Park on Saturday and Sunday.
The proceedings on Saturday will be opened by Tyrone and Roscommon at 4pm, with the victors earning a return to headquarters the following weekend for a quarter-final tie against Dublin.
That game will be followed by the showdown between Ulster champions Donegal and Kildare, which throws in at 6pm. It will be shown on RTÉ2.
After four weeks of rest, Kerry resume their title tilt at 2pm on Sunday when they take on Munster neighbours Limerick (RTÉ2), with Cork v Mayo pencilled as the second part of Sunday’s double-bill (TV3).
Saturday
- Round Four qualifier: Tyrone vs. Roscommon (Saturday, 4pm)

Sunday

That’s Mayo out. We have no chance of beating Cork
As a cork man, I would not agree with you there. If Mayo have nothing else they have pedigree and heart. It will certainly be a great game, looking forward to it!
It’s probably gonna be one of the best quarter finals in a few years
I believe we will win, don’t get me wrong, but people have short memories, anyone remember how Kerry had only to turn up against Down last year? Turned out to be a great game with an even better result…
Minor Quarter Final Sat @ 2pm – Roscommon v Armagh
They might as well just give Kerry the trophy now. Even as a Dublin girl I can see that!
Off to the bookies with you so;-) you must know something the rest of us dont!
Oh god the Media fascination with Kerry in the capital is even infecting the minds of the dubs now. The rantings of brolly, the a##elicking of Marty morrisey and the patethic nicknaming of some Kerry mortals does not mean it’s a forgone conclusion.
How’s that chip on your shoulder there Diarmuid?
How do I have a chip when I am criticising a chip on someone else’s shoulder? Ie. Brolly. Good joke, well put. Yawn!
so will will Dublin play sat week can any one tell me!?
Dublin v Tyrone / Roscommon is 7pm on Saturday 6 August as far as I know, Chris.
Gaa are hitting the nail on the head with sat evening throw in’s. Definitely a positive from the qualifiers thats been passed on to quarters. Has been decent attendances at smaller venues.
Here’s a thought. An all Ireland final under floodlights? Needless- yes, but would create very unique atmosphere.
So how come the Ros – Tyrone game won’t be televised, can anybody tell me?!
