CIARAN KILKENNY, PAUL Galvin and Eamonn Fitzmaurice were all in action this afternoon amid a busy day of GAA club fixtures.
Kilkenny’s Castleknock side were forced to settle for a replay, after they drew 1-12 to 0-15 after extra-time against a dogged Kenmare Shamrocks team.
The Dublin star still managed to have a significant impact on the match, scoring a number of points, including the all-important equaliser in the dying stages of the game.
The winner of the upcoming replay will face Ballinasloe in the All-Ireland IHC club final, after they earned a hard-fought 2-07 to 0-10 win over An Port Mór today.
Meanwhile, a Finuge side that included Kerry manager Eamonn Fitzmaurice and Paul Galvin will play Cookstown Fr Rocks in the All-Ireland Intermediate Club Championship final, after they beat Monasterevin 0-09 to 0-05.
And Fitzmaurice certainly made a difference to proceedings, contributing a number of points for his side, though Galvin had a quieter game, hitting several wides, in what was a low-scoring affair.
