GAA on tour: All-Stars jet off to the Big Apple

THE MEMBERS OF the GAA GPA All-Stars Football Tour jetted off to the US from Dublin Airport this morning.

The 34-strong panel, made up of the 2011 and 2012 All-Star teams, departed for JFK and were accompanied by Sam Maguire for the trip.

Managed by Donegal’s Jim McGuinness and former Dublin chief Pat Gilroy, the sides will face off in New York’s Gaelic Park in The Bronx on Saturday. FDNY and NYPD clash in the warm-up game earlier that day.
