Dublin double header the highlight of Friday's club GAA action

There’s also football action in Kildare and Limerick.

THERE IS A double header of Dublin senior hurling championship action taking place in Parnell Park tonight as this weekend’s club GAA gets off to an early start.

Eight-time winners O’Tooles take on Lucan Sarsfields in the first quarter-final at 6.45pm while 2012 champions Kilmacud Crokes play St Vincent’s in the second; throw in at 8.15pm.

In the Limerick senior football championship, both semi-finals take place tonight in Rathkeale with three-time defending champions Dromcollogher-Broadford taking on 2007 winners Ballylanders at 8.15pm. The early semi-final sees Fr. Casey’s play St. Patrick’s with throw-in at 6.30pm.

The night’s other action sees Athy play Allenwood – home of TheScore.ie‘s own Johnny Doyle - in the Kildare senior football championship. Throw-in at Hawkfield is at 8pm.
