KERRY MANAGER JACK O’Connor faces into an anxious week on the injury front after confirmation that both Eoin Brosnan and Seamus Scanlon are now considered doubts for the Kingdom’s All-Ireland SFC final date at Croke Park.
Brosnan suffered an ankle injury while training on Friday night but will be given every chance to prove his fitness before the clash with Dublin.
The news emerged as the squad held their traditional Open Day for the public and media at Fitzgerald Stadium on Saturday morning where O’Connor told reporters: “He’s been an important player for us and it would be a pity now if he missed out. We’ll wait and see.”
Seamus Scanlon, meanwhile, has had treatment on a benign cyst on his neck, according to the Irish Independent, and has missed his county’s training sessions in recent days.
