Four debutants named for Meath’s Championship clash with Wicklow

Meanwhile, Brian Farrell and Joe Sheridan both return to the side.

FOUR NEWCOMERS HAVE been named in the Meath side to face Wicklow in the GAA Football Championship this Sunday.

Alan Forde, Donncha Tobin, Mark Collins and Conor Gillespie will all make their Championship bow in the game.

The changes are in part due to a number of injuries to key players, with Stephen Bray, Paddy Gilsenan, Shane O’Rourke and Mark Ward all having been ruled.

In addition, Brian Farrell has been recalled to the side, while Joe Sheridan returns to the team following his return from the US.
