Forrester included in European goal of the season list

Check out all 20 of the continent’s best finishes, along with the Saints winger’s lob against Shamrock Rovers.

ST PATRICK’S ATHLETIC youngster Chris Forrester is rubbing shoulders with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in a poll for European goal of the season.

The 20-strong list, which is compiled by The Guardian, features the talented winger’s audacious chip over the head of Shamrock Rovers goalkeeper Oscar Jansson during the Saints’ 5-1 against the Premier Division champions in April.

Readers are asked to vote for their favourite before Thursday’s deadline.
