Irish international arrested over alleged Buck's nightclub assault

The 25-year-old was wanted in connection with an incident in Dublin in early June.

GARDAÍ IN DUBLIN have today arrested a 25-year-old man in connection with an alleged assault in a Dublin nightclub in June.

The incident at Leeson Street venue Buck Whaley’s on June 9 was investigated by Gardaí at the time and it is understood they had wished to question an Irish international footballer in relation to it.

The player, a resident in Britain, is today in custody having arrived in Dublin this weekend.
