How to turn €10 into €75,000 this weekend

Hindsight is a beautiful thing – here’s how you could’ve made a mint last weekend – and how to do it again.

WANNA KNOW HOW you could’ve won €17,361 (by our back-of-a-napkin calculations) last weekend?

And how you could transform a tenner into €74,350 it in the next few days?

Take a look at our five steps to heaven…

How to turn €10 into €75,000 this weekend
1 / 11
  • Rob Kearney

The Ireland full back was 7-2 to score at anytime during the course of the clash with the Springboks on Saturday at the Aviva Stadium last Saturday. The Leinster man popped up 71 minutes in for the hosts' second try.
  • Blame

In a thrilling Breeders Cup Classic in Kentucky on Saturday night, America's sweetheart Zenyatta was beaten by a head by the younger Blame at a generous 9-2.
  • Fernando Torres

He's back. Torres struck twice to sink Chelsea. You could've got him at 7-1 to bag a brace.
  • Treyc Cohen

After her mentor Cheryl Cole refused to back either her or stable mate Katie, Cohen was shown the door. Unlucky.
  • Francesco Molinari

Italian golfer Francesco Molinari finished with a 5-under 67 at Sheshan International Golf Club in Shangahi for his first win this season, and only the second of his career. He became the first Italian to claim a World Golf Championships title, posting 19 under and one shot in front of Westwood. (11-8 when I checked on Saturday morning.)
  • And here's how to do it this weekend

  • Manchester United to bottle it

Alex Ferguson's side visit Aston Villa tomorrow lunchtime. They've thrown a lot of leads away this season. They're priced at 14-1 to lead at half-time but ultimately lose. Mr Houllier would relish that.
  • Ireland to win by 11-15 points

Declan Kidney's men face Samoa at the Aviva Stadium tomorrow - one week after a narrow defeat to world champions South Africa. Expect Brian O'Driscoll et al to come out all guns blazing on the Pacific Islanders. A win by 11-15 points is valued at 13-2.
  • Audley Harrison to beat the Haye-maker

Audley Harrison faces fellow British heavyweight David Haye in Manchestger tomorrow night in Sky Sport's much-hyped Best of Enemies. Lump on the challenger at 5-1.
  • New York Jets to win at Cleveland

Rex Ryan's headline-hungry Jets look like a team who are going places. They visit the Browns on Sunday; stay away from spreads - but they're at a straight 4-7 to win outright.
  • Graeme McDowell to win in Singapore

The Irishman is perfectly poised for another tournament win at the Singapore Open and end a memorable year. He's at a tasty 6-1 at the moment.
