More success for Britton at Antrim International Cross Country event

The Irish runner continued her recent impressive form with another notable victory today.

FIONNUALA BRITTON CONTINUED her recent success with a victory at the Antrim International Cross Country race today.

The Irish athlete achieved a time of 18 minutes and 17 seconds in the process, 12 seconds ahead of England’s Louise Damon in second, while Kenya’s Magdalyne Masai came third.

Meanwhile, another Irish runner, Linda Byrne, came fourth, with a time of 18 minutes 48 seconds.

The result is a further boost for Britton, after she won the Great Edinburgh Cross Country race last week.
