IT TOOK FERNANDO Torres just 43 minutes to score on his first start for AC Milan.
His looping header sparked a revival as Milan came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 at Empoli.
After making his debut from the bench against Juventus last weekend, Torres was handed his first Serie A start by Filippo Inzaghi on Tuesday night.
The Spaniard, who averaged just over one goal in every four games at Chelsea, is surely hoping that this is the start of a new chapter.
Glad for him hope he continues to score. In fairness he never lacked effort playing for Chelsea, it just didnโt happen for him.
Torres is a strange one, he wasnโt a prolific goalscorer when with atl Madrid, Then he moves to liverpool, is on fire for a few years and is one of if not the best striker in the world in that period, the goals start to disappear at the end of his Liverpool stay but he still manages 9 before moving to Chelsea in January and then they almost completely dry up.
Iโm afraid if Torres goes on a good goal scoring run for AC Milan it will be more of a reflection of the standard of the Italian league rather than him improving
Thats played 2,goals 1??
Dont think he will ever be forgiven for the way he treated liverpool in the last year he was there
