Fans stream across Semple Stadium pitch during teams' warm-up as minor final delayed

The game was delayed by 10 minutes.

WATERFORD AND LIMERICK are currently playing out the Munster MHC final in Thurles.

The game threw in 10 minutes late due to crowd congestion however.

Semple Stadium officials initially opened one stand but were then forced to open the other one. There was no stewards to help open gates on the other side so spectators simply walked across the pitch during the teams’ warm-up routines.
