THE FAI HAVE launched a scheme in which students can buy season tickets for €99, it has been announced.
The organisation last night confirmed the tickets could be purchased for a series of games – Ireland’s crucial European qualifier against Armenia, at least two upcoming friendlies against opponents yet to be announced and the FAI Ford Cup Final.
In addition, the tickets can be used should Ireland reach a playoff to qualify for the European Championships.
Meanwhile, adult season tickets can be bought for €125 (category B) or €185 (category A), and children’s tickets are available for €30 (category B) and €35 (category A).
The organisation has struggled to sell tickets to certain fixtures of late, with the Dublin Super Cup being one notable example of an event that failed to attract the desired attendance.
Last February, poor attendance figures coupled with the organisation’s financial woes forced them to lower ticket prices for games.
