SHAMROCK ROVERS HAVE been handed a home tie with Cork City, after the draw took place for the FAI Ford Cup third round this evening.
Other notable ties include Bohemians being drawn with Avondale United, and Malahide United hosting Dundalk.
Meanwhile, last year’s losing finalists, Shelbourne, face a potential banana skin against Cherry Orchard.
And following Monaghan’s withdrawal from the competition, St Pat’s will receive a bye to the quarter-finals, after they were the first team drawn out.
The ties will take place on the week ending Sunday 26 August.
