DARRON GIBSON DIDN’T fancy answering Ireland’s call when Giovanni Trapattoni tried to draft him in as a late addition for tonight’s friendly against Poland.
Instead the midfielder joined his Everton team-mates for a training camp in Marbella, which included a trip to Matthew Macklin’s MGM gym for a workout.
Gibson, who declined the Ireland call-up as he is only returning from injury, and the Toffees stars were put through their paces by Macklin’s brother Seamus on Monday.
“Would have to say [Sylvain Distin] hits the hardest out of all the Everton lads,” Macklin tweeted.
