I love how some people make up stuff about what other people supposedly think. No one said they were responsible, but they most certainly are responsible for pro longing the pain and catastrophe that is now taking place in alot more countries than Greece, our own included. If you need examples of direct German intervention facts lads just let me know!

Also there grasp of history. The same medicine that they are forcing down Greece’s throat, destroyed their economy in the early 30′s and their society.

Germany hubris is a real Greek tale, in that their arrogance and pride is blinding them to the fact that a severe recession will also take them down in time.

Who would have ever guessed that destroying liquidity, money flow and growth in the currency zone that you sell 40% of your goods to, might not have been a good idea.

Greece became a sesspool of corruption that made a mockery of their own invention. That was after all the primary cause of the Greek crisis.

That’s a fair point. I saw one of the other German papers having a laugh at their own expense with the team pictured and all heads replaced with just one, Ms.Merkels. So it’s a fair point that Bild is just a rag!

And fat lot of good it did them.

I don’t know what the story is with all the hate for the Germans? I was down in the south last year doing a course and they were real friendly. We had a great laugh with the in the pub and if one of them seen us in the street the next day would come over and say hi. Some of the nicest people I ever met while abroad!

Whats with this “Youll never beat the Irish” chant anyway? Everyone they played beat them, hammered them!! Is it any wonder the team is totally shi*e? I mean think about it, the fans celebrate when the team loses…the manager is one of the highest paid managers in the world, he doesn’t even go to games so just sticks with the same team and bluffs his way through. The players know nobody cares, so why should they, and John Delaney is paid more than the president of America…all this in a country of 4 million people…When drunken idiots cheer and celebrate losing, what hope can there be for any improvement in the national team.
