ESPN’S BRILLIANT 30 for 30 series made its much anticipated return to American screens on Tuesday night with the premiere of “Broke”, a 90-minute documentary about pro athletes who squandered a fortune.
As expected it was compelling viewing and its message seems to have hit home with a lot of sports stars who were tweeting as they watched last night.
The series continues next week with 9.79*, a look at the infamous men’s 100m final at the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games.
