ALWAYS KNOWN FOR being a bit different with his distinctive dreads and glasses, Barnet player/manager Edgar Davids has decided to take the number 1 jersey this season.

The legendary Dutch midfielder, now 40, wore the number traditionally reserved for the first choice goalkeeper during the Bees’ last two pre-season friendlies and confirmed to the Barnet Times that he plans to keep hold of it.
