Galway footballer does superb Micheál Ó Muircheartaigh impression after county final

When Eddie Hoare hangs up the boots, a career as an impressionist awaits.

MICHEÁL Ó MUIRCHEARTAIGH wasn’t in Tuam for the Galway football final on Sunday (as far as we’re aware) but this is the next best thing to having the legendary GAA commentator call the action.

As is tradition, beaten finalists St Michael’s went to the home of champions Corofin to share a post-match drink and it fell to one of Michael’s county stars, Eddie Hoare, to provide the entertainment.

Channelling Ó Muircheartaigh’s unique style, Hoare re-told the story of Corofin’s win — with some added colour for effect.
